OGSM strengthens ownership and cooperation at DICTU
Introduction
DICTU wanted more control over the implementation of their strategic annual plan. There were plenty of ambitions, but the overview was missing — and therefore also the connection between strategy and execution. Together, we translated their plans into an OGSM structure and worked with teams on a concrete approach. By placing everything in OGSM.com, peace, focus and ownership were created. The strategy is now present throughout the organization, from management to operation.
The Challenge
DICTU's Customer Relations division has grown from 40 to more than 70 employees. With three different clusters in content, there was a need for clear focus, concrete ownership and better cooperation.
How do you ensure that each team sets its own course, while contributing to the bigger picture?
Our Approach
OGSM.com assisted the three clusters in preparing their own OGSM plans. Each team worked on a clear, action-oriented strategy on one page with clear goals, KPIs and ownership agreements.
This also resulted in something extra: by using the same structure and language, the clusters began to seek out and strengthen each other better. In this way, the interrelation grew naturally along with the content.
The Result
The OGSM method is anchored within the customer relationship division at DICTU as a practical tool at the cluster level. Each team has focus, knows where ownership lies, and works in better coordination with the other clusters.
“OGSM heeft ons echt richting en structuur gegeven. Onze teams begrijpen nu beter hoe ze elkaar aanvullen én waar hun eigen verantwoordelijkheid ligt. De samenwerking met OGSM.com verliep soepel; ze daagden ons uit, maakten enthousiast en hadden veel oog voor wie wij zijn als organisatie. Dankzij hun begeleiding hebben we nu plannen waar iedereen achter staat en die ons in de dagelijkse praktijk echt verder helpen.”
